Process Art
A simple outline of an image will help to inspire and guide younger children in their painting, whilst allowing them the freedom to explore colours and and textures as they create marks with their hands, fingers and paint brushes.
I absolutely love seeing how much fun this child had in one of our Little Charlie Bears workshops. For anyone wanting a picture perfect fox, you could wait for the paint to dry and cut out the fox. Then you can stick the fox onto a blank piece of card to frame.
Collaging with felt
Collaging is a relaxing and interesting way for children to explore textures whilst developing their creative thinking skills. Fine-motor skills are developed throughout this activity as children learn how to control their hand and finger movements when cutting and sticking materials.
