Inspired by the stunning colours that run through all of the different rocks in our landscape.
You will need:
- Paints
- Cups or yohurt pots
- Water
- A pippette
- Coffee filter papers (kitchen roll will work too)
- A4 thick paper or card
How to make your picture:
- Squeeze a drop of paint into a cup and add a little water. Stir the paint into the water with your pipette.
- Use your pipette to soak up some watered down paint mixture and squirt it on to your coffee filter papers.
- Add a variety of colours and watch as the colours spread and blend into each other.
- Scrunch and tear up your coffee filters to create rugged mountains.
- Once dry stick the mountains onto a piece of paper.
- Once the glue has dried, your can add details to your mountains using thicker paint to create a variety of layers and depth to your picture.
